Mechanicsburg Parks

Mechanicsburg Borough is home to 3 established parks within the Borough. Maintenance at Borough parks is handled by the Public Works Department throughout the year. Our parks are open to the public from dawn to dusk every day. Please adhere to the posted park rules when visiting our parks. The Recreation Board assists the Public Works Department with oversight and collaboration in park maintenance and equipment repair and replacement.

Memorial Park

With 46 acres of green space including the location of the Borough Pool, Memorial Park is the largest park area in the Borough. Memorial Park also offers baseball fields, the Mechanicsburg High School field house and football field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, a playground, a walking trail, and a 33-plot community garden. Pavilions are available for rent at Memorial Park. There are 3 pavilions available for residents and nonresidents to utilize. 

Koser Park

The 10-acre Koser Park is located along Shepherdstown Road. Visitors to the park can gain access on South Chestnut Street. Koser Park offers 2 play areas, baseball fields, basketball courts, a natural playground with a walking trail, and a pavilion available for rent. 

Finkenbinder Park 

At 2 acres of land, Finkenbinder Park is the smallest established park in the Borough. Finkenbinder Park offers a baseball field, a play area, and picnic tables. This is a neighborhood park with access from East Green Street and North Arch Street.
