Municipal Authority
The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Mechanicsburg was originally established in 1946 to oversee the Borough's sanitary sewer system. Decades later, the duties of the Authority reverted back to Borough Council as needs of the community changed. In 2018 Borough Council voted to reactivate the Authority to manage a fee for services to address increasing regulation of stormwater systems.
